Music Tuition
Jake is an actor-musician, tenor singer, guitarist and pianist that graduated from Southampton University and the Guildford School of Acting. He has been employed in a wide range of musical environments, working with several touring theatre companies, choirs, composers, live music agencies and education providers.
Jake has worked as a music curriculum specialist and choir leader in a number of Sussex and Surrey schools for many years as well as providing group singing/instrument lessons and courses for Sussex Music School, Open2Music, Stagecoach, Cranleigh Arts Centre and the Tandridge Learning Trust.
Jake loves working with pupils to help them get excited about music and is always interested in new tools, methods and repertoire that can help improve his practice.
Jake’s typical weekend involves walking up a big hill with his golden retriever, visiting a board game café or guitar shop and then watching football with family.
Lessons taught in Storrington, surrounding areas at your home (for an additional travel cost) and online video calls (using zoom or facetime)

It is expected that all excercises, techniques and repertoire taught during lessons are consolidated by pupils through practice outside of lessons!
